SpradeTV: Setting the course for the future

With a new dual leadership and a fresh brand image
Sports Trade GmbH, operator of the streaming service SpradeTV, is presenting a comprehensive strategic realignment. With a clear focus on quality and innovation in its core business of ice hockey, the company will once again rely on its usual strengths. The management will be taken over by Marcel Linke, a former ice hockey professional, and Carsten Gaenserig, a long-standing shareholder and experienced expert in streaming and moving image production. This dual leadership combines sporting expertise with technical know-how and lays the foundation for the targeted further development of the company.
As a former ice hockey player, Marcel Linke brings valuable expertise: As a defender, he laced up his skates for teams such as the Lausitzer Füchse, Dresdner Eislöwen and EHC Neuwied. With his many years of experience and his deep understanding of the German ice hockey scene, he will give SpradeTV important new impulses. At his side is Carsten Gaenserig, co-founder of the Europe-wide established broadcast platform ClipMyHorse.TV and a proven expert in high-quality live productions. His technical expertise and entrepreneurial experience will make a significant contribution to the future-oriented development of SpradeTV.
After a phase of diversification, Sports Trade GmbH is now consistently focusing on its core competence in ice hockey. With reliable quality, innovative approaches to broadcasts, recordings and analyses and an open communication structure, the company wants to strengthen its position in the market and convince fans and partners in the long term.
A revised brand presence underlines this change of times. From May 2025, SpradeTV will present itself with a fresh design, a completely new web platform and optimized apps. The established contacts for technology and team support will remain, however. With these measures, those responsible at Sports Trade GmbH are convinced that they will be able to sustainably secure SpradeTV's established position in the ice hockey streaming market and meet the growing demands of the community even better.
